Danny PatelOf CounselDanny was born and raised in Kona on the Big Island. He received his Associate in Applied Science degree from Hawai‘i Community College, where he studied Electronics Technology, and his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Hawai‘i at Hilo, majoring in Political Science and Psychology. He received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa, William S. Richardson School of Law. While attending law school, Danny was a member of the University of Hawai‘i Law Review and the 2010-2011 National Environmental Law Moot Court Team. He also worked as a judicial extern for then Probate Judge, The Honorable Derrick H.M. Chan, First Circuit Court, State of Hawai‘i.
Following law school, Danny worked for a boutique law firm based on Oahu, Kawashima Law Group LLLC (now Yee & Kawashima LLLP), focusing his practice on trust and probate administration/litigation. Danny returned to the Big Island in 2014. In private practice, he continued his focus on trust and probate matters. As a government attorney, he served as Deputy Corporation Counsel for the County of Hawai‘i, practicing in land use, code enforcement, and labor and employment law, among other areas. In 2021, Danny joined the Law Offices of Yeh & Kim.
